Tank: Reef aquarium is ideal, live-rock, fish-only system. Provide 26 gallons and can be kept in small groups, added simultaneously.
Aquarium Behavior: Peaceful towards other fish.
Maximum Length: 2.4 in
Food & Diet: Meaty foods and with time they may take granular and flaked foods.
Reef Compatibility: Will not harm invertebrates, sessile or otherwise.
Quick Notes: Some fish including Chromis, fairy Wrasses and Swallowtail will not tolerate the presence of other fish in its zone.

Royal Gramma

Tank: Will thrive in almost any system. Do not be house with aggressive fish. Provide 13 gallons and can be kept in pairs or singly.
Aquarium Behavior: Will sometime swim upside-down over caves and overhangs.
Maximum Length: 3.2 in
Food & Diet: Provide zooplankton and small shrimps. Possible to wean it onto flake or granular but can prove to be difficult.
Reef Compatibility: Could possibly harm ornamental shrimp but is rare.
Quick Notes: This shy species often hides for sustained periods in the rockwork. May need target feeding.

Blackcap Gramma
(Gramma melacara)

Tank: Will thrive in almost any system. Do not be house with aggressive fish. Provide 13 gallons and is best singly or in pairs. Groups are possible with much larger aquariums.
Aquarium Behavior: Very small goby species can become eaten by this fish. Use caution.
Maximum Length: 4 in
Food & Diet: Will accept most shrimp or shellfish-based frozen preparations.
Reef Compatibility: Use caution with delicate or smallest species of ornamental shrimps.
Quick Notes: Be sure they are feeding in the dealers tanks.
